No. You just need to be able to understand the fundamental things like how to click with a mouse, how to open your email and how to save files to you computer. Everything else you need to know to become an expert digital scrapbooker is learned a step at a time.

Yes. One of the exciting things about Digital Scrapbooking is that your digital scrapbooking elements are never ‘used up’. You can keep on reusing them and combining them with other elements to create different looks.

It's important to remember this is not a race! You will move through the program at your own pace. The eclasses will be sent to you each week. When you are ready to move to the next eclass you can just click on the link and access it. And the Digital Scrapbook Kits associated with it will still be available to you.

There is no doubt that as you progress through the eclasses the information you have learned will have a compound effect.  This means the further you go in the program, the more exciting and creative your scrapbook layouts will become as you increase your techniques and skills. Practice makes perfect!  When you follow the techniques in the program you will see your own results come.

The Mentoring Program

From the very first eclass and throughout the program, I will give you easy-to-follow, step-by-step videos which will give you the skills and knowledge to start creating your own beautiful digital scrapbook layouts.

As you move through the eclasses, you will be given more techniques and skills that you can apply to creating your scrapbook layouts.  You will also how to use the tools in Photoshop Elements to produce the effects you desire on your layouts. And you will given all the elements that you need (and then some) to be able to create the demonstrated layout immediately.

The idea of this is to take the pressure off you, so you can get the full benefits of the program. This means you are able to go over the new techniques you’ve learned as often as you want to before you access the next eclass. So you can move through the program at a pace that is comfortable for your lifestyle.

No, it doesn’t make any difference what part of the world you live in. As long as you have access to a computer that is connected to the Internet you will receive your eclasses. For your convenience, you can also use the Internet to access the “Members Only Site”.  All you need to do is log in using your username and password that you will be given when you join the program.

That’s a good question.  There are some web sites which offer various digital scrapbooking tutorials. But the Step by Step Digital Scrapbook Program is designed to hold your hand and teach you all you need to know to become a great digital scrapbooker in easy steps. This program takes you from the very beginning and develops your skills a step at a time.

And if you need some personal one on one coaching from me, we can arrange a phone coaching session.

You can stay a member of the program for as long as you want.  You receive an eclass every week.  If you ever find they’re no longer valuable to you, you can simply unsubscribe.

This program has been designed to build your digital scrapbooking skills step-by-step. Each eclass assumes that you have already completed the previous ones.

And repetition is a part of building skills. As you learn new techniques you should create your own digital scrapbook layouts using them. Not just the layout in the eclass demonstration.

Emails and eclasses

Each week you will be sent a link to your eclass via email.  Also, members’ announcements will be sent to you by email.  Your email address is held in strictest privacy and will not be released to any third party for any reason whatsoever, unless required by law.

The eclasses are organized so that if you are working full time you should still have enough time to complete one each week. Each video eclass takes 30 minutes to watch. You will be given activities to complete before the next eclass to reinforce the new techniques you are learning and to get you started creating your own scrapbook layouts straight away. I recommend that you replay the video a second time and pause it periodically whilst your repeat the techniques on your own scrapbook layout. This might take about an hour depending how much you enjoy playing with your layouts.

The great thing is that you don’t need to do it all at once. You can stop and start according to your own pace.

When you join our program, you start at the beginning and receive emails every week which link you through to the online eclasses.  You always have access to them for as long as you remain in the program, so you can view them as many times as you wish and repeat older eclasses that you maybe didn't have time to do straight away.

Members’ forum

This is a unique forum for members-only, where people just like you can come together as a community and share experiences or give advice to one another.

There will be a section (or thread) for each eclass where members can ask questions pertaining to that particular eclass and see what other members’ thoughts on it are. As well as seeking assistance from Karen on any matters which might be proving a bit of a challenge.

Very good question! The biggest reason why I decided to put together a digital scrapbooking coaching program to help people learn to create amazing scrapbook layouts was quite simple really. It was born out of demand.

I kept having all these people telling me they would love to make scrapbook layouts but they didn’t want all the mess of bits of paper, scissors and glue, especially those with small children in the house. And they wanted to be able to start and stop whenever it suited their lifestyle without having a lot of setting up or clearing up to do.

Many of them said “I’ve seen these layouts on the Internet and I think they’re wonderful, but I couldn’t make them because I’m not a clever with computers and I’m not very creative.”

So, since I used to think both of those things myself, I decided to use the Internet to create a program where people could learn how to create their own wonderful mementos of special moments and could unlock the creativity that they perhaps didn’t realize they possessed.

All I can say so far is that the response has been overwhelming.  People have found my easy to follow videos exactly what they need to learn their new skills and are excited by the wonderful results they are producing. I must say this is very encouraging and now I am sure it will continue.

We will then explore some of the more advanced techniques to create even more amazing effects and we will also enter the realms of digital scrapbook designing where you will learn to create your own exclusive digital scrapbook kits. Our aim is to continue to provide useful information presented in an interesting and stimulating way so that our members will always look forward to receiving their next eclass because they see real value in what we are providing.
